Rite of Remembrance - Core Rules

Each player character has a Supply die and 8 Inventory slots to hold items:

Items

Supply

Every player character has a Supply die. This die represents your general readiness and stock of basic supplies that you carry on you.

Your Supply die will step up and down as you gain and lose supplies.

When you find, harvest, or trade for new supplies, your Supply die will step up.

When you rest, repair, and use Kits, you will roll your Supply die:

When you roll a 1 or 2, your Supply die steps down.

Sometimes, your Supply will step-down automatically, without a roll.

Resources [???]

Resources are unique materials that are kept seperate from your Supply, though they function in a similar way. Instead of a Quality, they have a Resource die.

When you use the resource, you roll its die, and it steps down on a 1 or 2. Crafting with a resource always steps-down the resource die.

Kits

Kits are a collection of small items that serve a singular purpose and only take one inventory slot. A Kit acts as an abstraction of all the consumable supplies you need for that purpose.
